The Institute for Environmental Policy held an event on the importance, issues, threats and solutions for Kune-Vain lagoon-wetland ecosystem in Shëngjin, Albania.
During January 2020, IEP conducted a field visit at the Kune-Vain ecosystem, and developed a video and infographics with the materials collected during the field visit.
An event for the public in general was held on 1 February, followed with the online media campaign. During the event, a series of presentations on risks, threats, and opportunities that wetlands face in Albania. Climate change also shared an important part of the event, being a major risk for the Kune-Vain ecosystem.
