We chose to use the image of a horse chestnut leaf (Aesculus hippocastanum) in our logo as it is a native tree of an area in Southeastern Albania-Northwestern Greece. Also, the tree is vulnerable, as it is threatened by climate change – once Albania’s climate becomes hotter as a result of global warming, the species is in danger of becoming extinct.
